Changing The Auto-Attendant Message/Script

From Inside The Office

  1. Dial into the Voice Portal's extension. (By default, this is 999. If this extension doesn't work for you, please contact LunaTech Support.)
  2. Press the star key *.
  3. Enter the Voice Portal's extension again when prompted.
  4. Enter the Voice Portal admin password when prompted. (This passcode was provided to your office admin, if you do not have it, please contact LunaTech Support.)
  5. Press 1 to change the Auto-Attendant greeting. (If you have multiple Auto-Attendants, the system will then ask you to enter the Auto-Attendant number that you want to change.  This is the Auto-Attendant's extension.)
  6. Press 1 to change the Business Hours greeting or 2 to change the After Hours greeting.
  7. Follow the system prompts from this point forward.

From Outside The Office

  1. Dial your office main line or the desired Auto Attendant's number (if these are not the same or if you have multiple Auto-Attendants).
  2. Dial the Voice Portal's extension. (By default, this is 999. If this extension doesn't work for you, please contact LunaTech Support.)
  3. Enter Voice Portal's extension again when prompted.
  4. Enter the Voice Portal's passcode when prompted.  (This passcode was provided to your office admin, if you do not have it, please contact LunaTech Support.)
  5. Press 1 to change the Auto-Attendant greeting. (If you have multiple Auto-Attendants, the system will then ask you to enter the Auto-Attendant number that you want to change.  This is the Auto-Attendant's extension.)
  6. Press 1 to change the Business Hours greeting or 2 to change the After Hours greeting.
  7. Follow the system prompts from this point forward.

NOTE:

 

If there is a DID assigned to your Voice Portal, you can also dial that number directly without having to dial an Auto-Attendant's number first.
